Infant Adoption

Adoption is a positive choice for women, their children and their families. We are not a licensed adoption agency but we do refer our clients to well-respected agencies. We help the client consider adoption, answer questions, and refer to the right people. We also offer peer support and counseling so that our clients will not feel alone when making such an important choice.

In Alabama, there are approximately 20,000 live births to unmarried women each year, 11,000 pregnancy terminations, and 250 infants placed for adoption (Adoption Factbook III, National Council for Adoption).
